Production Manager Vacancy
Working closely with LIPA’s Technical Director, you will work on a wide variety of productions and events including drama, dance, musical theatre and popular music events and festivals. This will include the technical management of our performance venues.
As well as ensuring the quality of all aspects of these productions you will line manage our Theatre Technicians, maintain production schedules and control the budgets for productions.
You will also instruct and monitor students, staff and external users in the use of our performance facilities, demonstrating high standards of professional practice in line with current Health and Safety legislation.
You must have at least three years’ related experience and an active working knowledge of all aspects of technical production. You will possess excellent leadership, communication, organisation, problem-solving and collaborative skills needed to plan and deliver quality productions and events within tight schedules and budgets.
Experience of working with student crews in a higher education environment is preferred but not essential. You are likely to be required to work unsociable and flexible hours. A full driving licence with experience of driving LCVs will be advantageous.
