PA to Director of Finance and Administration Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA within our offices in Battersea, London.

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum
Contract type: Permanent / Full Time

 

The Royal Academy of Dance is a dynamic organisation dedicated to advancing standards of dance education and teaching, and to the promotion and development of dance worldwide. The Director of Finance & Administration is key to the sound financial and business management of the organisation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the form of a full time PA to the Director of Finance and Administration where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support including correspondence to the Director including:

  • diary management
  • meeting organisation
  • preparation of agendas, taking and preparation of minutes and other documentation, and
  • travel arrangements.

And, providing administrative support to the Finance Team including:

  • processing credit card payments
  • invoice filing
  • reconciling data from different systems, and
  • preparing Budget analysis / summaries.

Skills

For the role of PA, you will need to be educated to at least GCSE level including English and Maths, have substantial experience of providing administrative and secretarial support, ideally with a financial focus. 

You will need to:

  • have experience of servicing meetings by creating agendas, minute taking and preparing committee meetings papers.
  • have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • maintain strict confidentiality and work with sensitivity and discretion in interactions with a variety of people, nationally and internationally
  • have strong IT skills, an ability to work accurately and quickly and prioritise work effectively

Speed writing or shorthand skills in order to take minutes at a variety of meetings are desirable.
