Music and Drama Education Expo are delighted to announce the launch of the CPD conference programme, consisting of a broad range of high-quality, free-to-attend workshops and seminars over 24 & 25 September 2021. Delivered by award-winning teachers and practitioners from organisations including Open Drama UK and Musicians Union, these sessions will help music and drama education professionals from across the UK enhance their provision and inspire young learners.
The CPD conference programme covers essential learnings for music and drama education professionals working from early years to KS5 and beyond. One of the key themes running throughout the programme is improving diversity and inclusion in music and drama education. Practitioners can discover ways to make their teaching more inclusive through a number of hands-on workshops, including ‘Drama Techniques for ASC Students’, where attendees will explore tips on how to create the best environment for Autistic Spectrum Condition learners to flourish.
Another key theme running throughout the programme is improving mindfulness, wellbeing and performance health. Attendees can participate in sessions such as the ‘Your Voice In Action’ session, which will provide a greater awareness of ways to implement more healthy practices within both music and drama.
