The RAD are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Assistant to assist in the running of the shop and mail order operations.
£16,000 - £18,000 pa
The Royal Academy of Dance is an organisation dedicated to advancing standards of dance education and teaching, and to promoting and investing in the development of dance worldwide. RAD Enterprises Ltd is a small, multi-faceted company with a dynamic retail outlet at the RAD’s premises in Battersea, London, and an established online and mail order business which we are looking to grow.
Previous experience of working within the retail environment with some administrative duties is essential. You will have the ability to provide high quality friendly, yet professional customer service, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, numeracy skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet and email. Knowledge of dance wear and associated items would also be an advantage, but is not essential.
Flexibility with regard to working hours is required, as there will be the need to work occasional weekends for specific events, and some additional hours during our busiest sales periods, for which overtime will be paid.
Offer of employment will be subject to criminal record clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
