Head of Education and Training Department Vacancy

This post is a senior management position, contributing to the development and delivery of ISTD’s long-term vision and strategy and being responsible for a small and very busy team.

The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) is one of the world’s leading dance examinations boards. We are passionate about dance teaching and learning, a registered educational charity and cover the full spectrum of dance genres. The ISTD has over 7,500 members in 75 countries around the world.

The Education and Training Department provides training and professional development for our members through a range of courses across and beyond the UK. It works with experts and a range of stakeholders to develop qualifications in specific dance genres and styles from Ballroom to Ballet, Street to Classical Indian dance, and in dance pedagogy.

Salary: In the region of £40,000 pa.  ISTD also offers a contributory pension.
