Facilities Assistant
We are looking to recruit for a Facilities Assistant based in our offices in Battersea, London.
Contract type: 9-month fixed term maternity cover (full-time) – with the possibility of extension
Start date: 18 May 2015
Salary range: £19,000 – £21,000 pa
The Royal Academy of Dance is a dynamic organisation dedicated to advancing standards of dance education and teaching, and to the promotion and development of dance worldwide. The Academy’s Headquarters premises in Battersea, London is open 7 days a week and is made up of dance studio spaces, offices, meeting rooms and public areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of reception and switchboard, studio/room bookings and all stationery procurement.
Skills
You will have proven experience of working in an administrative capacity in an office environment as well as experience of handling incoming calls through a busy switchboard. You will be educated to GCSE or equivalent especially in English and Maths, have excellent oral and written communication in English and proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), email and Internet. The ability to provide high quality customer service, deal with enquiries confidently, work effectively within a team situation are all essential.
Knowledge of health and safety and experience of managing a reception desk/area would also be an advantage.
