Examinations Business and Customer Service Administrator Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Examinations Business and Customer Service Administrator within RAD’s offices in Battersea, London.

The Royal Academy of Dance is a dynamic organisation dedicated to advancing standards of dance education, teaching, promoting and investing in the development of dance worldwide. As a recognised Awarding Organisation, we offer a range of Examinations, Assessments and Awards to approximately 225,000 candidates per year.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Examinations Business and Customer Services Manager. You will:

  • be responsible for administering the day to day administration of key business and Customer Service (including Quality Assurance) processes
  • provide PA support to the Director of Examinations
  • act as Servicing Officer for committees and working groups (as required)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working in an administrative role gained in a professional working environment.

SKILLS


You should be committed and enthusiastic with GSCE level education (including Maths and English), and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) including accurate data entry and a good use of the internet and email.

Your other attributes will include:

  • excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with enquiries from the general public, colleagues and students with an excellent customer service focus
  • accuracy and attention to detail
  • proficient numeracy skills

Experience in minute taking and or servicing a Committee would be an advantage as well as having worked as a Personal Assistant or secretary.

Appointment to this post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service, Disclosure Scotland or other applicable international body.
