Costume Workroom Supervisor

You will assist the Wardrobe Supervisor in the provision of costumes for our productions and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the wardrobe department.

Ideally you will have a qualification in wardrobe, costume-making or textiles. However, we would be interested in someone without formal qualifications, who has a demonstrable commitment to this area of work.

You will have at least two years’ relevant experience of making and altering costumes in a theatre environment, working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

You will need to be able to work closely with staff and students and, ideally, have some experience of instructing/demonstrating.

The Costume Workroom Supervisor (Maternity Cover) post is available from September 2014 to July 2015 for 41 term-time weeks.
