Continuing Professional Development Operations Manager Vacancy
An exciting opportunity has risen for a Continuing Professional Development Operations Manager, based in our offices in Battersea, London.
£24,000 to £30,000 per annum
Permanent / full-time position
The Royal Academy of Dance is a dynamic organisation dedicated to advancing standards of dance education and teaching, and to promoting and investing in the development of dance world-wide. The Academy’s Faculty of Education offers internationally recognised qualifications including university-validated degrees, RAD professional awards and an international Continuing Professional Development Scheme.
Working closely with the Head of CPD, you will:
- assist with management of the RAD CPD scheme, which aims to advance the skills, knowledge and understanding of dance teachers
- assist with developing departmental systems and strategic direction, as well as creating career development opportunities for teachers
- liaise with the Quality Assurance Manager and Registrar to ensure rigorous quality standards are applied
- ensure that RAD-wide Departments, members and international markets are fully briefed through internal and external communication networks.
SKILLS
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience in administrative work, ideally in an arts or education context. You will have:-
- excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to support colleagues at all levels and to form effective internal and external relationships
- the ability to research, analyse and summarise information
- excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines whilst staying calm and positive under pressure
- a good working knowledge of a range of IT programmes, including word processing, web content management systems and databases.
Experience of communicating with users in a front line capacity internationally and knowledge of current issues in CPD would be an advantage, but not essential.
